MCQ Exams

MCQ Exams is where you create and manage all multiple-choice question papers used across the platform — both for course-level quizzes (linked in Create Course Step 4) and for standalone chapter exams. Each entry is called a Quiz Exam and contains a Paper List of questions.

Bulk Publish

Publish multiple quiz exams simultaneously.

Opens the Create Exam form to set up a new quiz exam from scratch.

Filtering Exams

Status (All)

Filter by All, Published, or Unpublished.

Select Main Category

Filter by School, Government, or Entrance.

Select Category

Filter by sub-category.

Select Subject

Filter by subject.

Exam Type

Filter by type.

Search By Question

Search for exams containing a specific question keyword.

Understanding an Exam Card

Each exam is displayed as a card. Here is what every field means:

Exam Name

Title of the quiz exam — shown when linking it to a course in Step 4.

Main Category

The main category this exam belongs to.

Toggle (ON/OFF)

Publish or unpublish the exam.

Three-dot menu

Opens Edit and Delete options.

Exam Date

Date the exam was scheduled or created.

Type

Exam type.

Subject

Subject area of the exam.

Category

Course-category this exam is assigned to.

Remark

Short description or note added during creation.

Start / End Time

Scheduled window during which students can attempt the exam.

Attempted

Number of students who have attempted this exam.

View button

Opens the Paper List — all MCQ questions added to this exam.
Warning — Deleting an exam also removes it from any courses it was linked to in Step 4. Students lose access immediately.

Paper List — Managing Questions Inside an Exam

Clicking View on an exam card opens its Paper List page where you add and manage individual questions.

Count badge

Orange badge shows how many questions are in this exam (0 = no questions yet).

Search By Question

Search within this exam's questions by keyword.

Sample CSV

Downloads a template CSV with the exact column format required. Always download this before uploading.

Upload Questions (CSV)

Opens the Upload CSV dialog. Select your prepared CSV and click Add Bulk Questions to import all questions at once.

Add Questions

Opens the Add New Question dialog to add one question manually.

Adding a Question Manually

Click Add Questions to open the Add New Question dialog. All fields marked * are required:

Question *

Full question text. Attach an optional image via Choose File below the text area.

Option 1 *

Text for the first answer choice. Optional image attachment available.

Option 2 *

Text for the second answer choice. Optional image attachment available.

Option 3 *

Text for the third answer choice. Optional image attachment available.

Option 4 *

Text for the fourth answer choice. Optional image attachment available.

Right Answer *

Select which option (1, 2, 3, or 4) is the correct answer.

Marks of Question *

Marks awarded for a correct answer. Defaults to 0.

Bulk Upload Questions via CSV

Click Sample CSV to download the template. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets.

Fill each row: question text, option 1, option 2, option 3, option 4, correct answer (e.g. option1), marks.

Save the file in CSV format.

Click Upload Questions (CSV) on the Paper List page.

Drag and drop your CSV file into the Upload CSV File dialog.

Click Add Bulk Questions — all questions are imported instantly.
Tip — For adding many questions at once, always use the CSV upload method. Download the Sample CSV first, fill it in following the column headers, then upload.
Important — Do not change the column headers in the sample CSV template. The system reads columns by their exact header names. Extra columns or a changed order may cause the import to fail.
