Send SMS

The Send SMS screen allows administrators to compose and dispatch SMS messages to your chosen audience.

Two modes are available: Normal Mode for bulk messaging and Test Mode for sending preview messages before broadcasting.

Normal Mode — Sending to All Recipients

Normal Mode broadcasts messages to every recipient in the selected group. SMS credits are deducted per message sent.

Select Category

Choose a category such as Admission, Attendance, Fees, or Notice.

Choose Recipients

Select the target audience after choosing a category.

Pick a Template

Select a predefined SMS template. The message body is automatically populated.

Review the Message

Verify placeholders such as {Student_Name}, {Date}, and {School_Name} before sending.

Send

Click the Send button to queue messages for delivery.
Tip : Check your Balance before sending. If credits are low, click Recharge Now to purchase additional SMS credits.

Test Mode — Preview Before Sending

Test Mode allows you to send a preview SMS to a single mobile number before broadcasting the message. Use it to verify message content before dispatching to all recipients

Enable Test Mode. The interface will truns to orange and display a TEST MODE banner.

Enter the mobile number in the Test Mobile Number field.

Select Category and Template as usual.

Click Send to dispatch the test SMS.
Important : Test messages also consume SMS credits. Disable Test Mode after testing to avoid accidentally sending only to the test number.

Field Reference

Total Messages

Total SMS credits purchased across all recharges.

Balance

Remaining SMS credits available to send.

Sent Messages

Credits used in the current session.

Category

Topic or type of message such as Admission, Attendance, Fees, or Notice.

Recipients

Target audience group. Activated after selecting a category.

Template

Predefined SMS template.

Template Preview

Auto-populated message body displayed below the template dropdown.

Test Mobile Number

Visible only in Test Mode. Used to receive preview SMS messages.
