Mark Sheet Setup

The Mark Sheet Setup module allows administrators to configure mark sheet appearance, grading scales, co-scholastic activities, and layout customisation for student academic reports.

Accessing Mark Sheet Setup

Open Sidebar

Click Exam Management from the left navigation panel.

Select Section

Choose Mark Sheet Setup from the submenu.

View Tabs

The page opens with Marksheet Setting, Marks Grade, and Marksheet Layout tabs.

Tab 1 — Marksheet Setting

Configure the general structure and display options used for generated mark sheets.

Available Settings

Show Student PhotoToggleDisplay the student's profile photo on the mark sheet.
Show Pass / FailToggleWhen ON, a Pass/Fail indicator is printed alongside marks.
Passing PercentageToggleWhen ON, allows setting a custom passing percentage threshold.
Note : Only one header style can be selected at a time: School Detail, Letterhead Space, or No Details.

Add Note with Grade

Grade Note

Enter a custom message or school policy note that should appear near the grade section of the mark sheet.

Saving Settings

Configure Settings

Enable or disable required toggles and header options.

Add Note

Enter optional grade notes or policy information

Submit

Enable or disable required toggles and header options.
Important : Changes apply immediately to newly generated mark sheets only. Existing printed reports are unaffected.

Tab 2 — Marks Grade

The Marks Grade tab has two panels side by side: the Grade Table on the left and the Co-Scholastic configuration on the right.

Grade Table (Left Panel)

Grade *

Grade label such as A1, B1, C1, etc.

Min % *

Minimum percentage required for the grade.

Max % *

Maximum percentage range for the grade.

Remarks

Optional descriptive remark shown with the grade.

Managing Grade Rows

Add Row

ick + Add Row to insert a new grade entry.

Delete Row

Use the delete icon to remove a grade row.

Update

Click Update to save all grading changes.

Co-Scholastic Configuration (Right Panel)

Configure activity areas such as Sports, Music, Attendance, and Extracurricular activities.

Enable Co-Scholastic

Turn ON the co-scholastic section for mark sheets.

Add Activity

Enter an activity name and click the + button.

Edit Activity

Use the pencil icon to rename an activity.

Delete Activity

Remove activities using the trash icon.
Tip : Default activities include Sports, Music, Extracurricular, and Attendance.

Tab 3 — Marksheet Layout

The Marksheet Layout tab provides a live preview of the mark sheet alongside a set of visual customisation controls on the right panel.

The left side of the screen shows a real-time preview of how the mark sheet will appear when printed or published.

The preview includes

School header with logo, name, address, and contact details.
Progress Records' title with the academic year.
Student Profile section showing Scholar Name, Class & Section, Date of Birth, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Address, Email ID, and Mobile Number.
Mark Sheet table with Scholastic Area columns: Subject Name, First Term (Half Yearly + Total), Second Term (Annual + Total), and Overall Combined Total with Grade.
Co-Scholastic Areas table showing activity grades per term.
A Word to Parents section with school policies and grading scale

Customisation Options

Add Board LogoImage uploadUpload the board/affiliation logo to display on the mark sheet header.
Watermark Rotation (0–360°)Number inputSet the angle (in degrees) at which the watermark is rotated. Default is 0.
School Name Font SizeSliderAdjust the size of the school name text in the header. Default: 42px.
Student Details Font SizeSliderAdjust the font size of the student profile section. Default: 12px.
Table Font SizeSliderAdjust the font size of text inside the marks table. Default: 14px.
Background ColorColor pickerSet a background color for the mark sheet page.
School Name Font ColorColor pickerChange the color of the school name in the header. Default: blue.
Add SignatureCheckboxWhen checked, adds a signature line at the bottom of the mark sheet.
Show Grades in MarksheetToggleWhen ON, grade letters (A1, A2, etc.) appear alongside marks.
Show Attendance in MarksheetToggleWhen ON, the student's attendance data is included in the mark sheet.

Layout Templates

Templates

Three layout templates are available at the bottom of the configuration panel. Select any template to change the arrangement, header style, and table appearance of the mark sheet.

Saving Layout

Customise

Adjust sliders, colors, uploads, and toggles.

Preview

Verify the live preview on the left panel.

Save Configuration

Click Save Configuration to apply all layout changes.

Reset Defaults

Restore all layout settings to original defaults.
Important : Layout changes are not applied until Save Configuration is clicked.
