Fee Structure — Setup & Configuration
The Fee Setup feature allows school administrators to create and manage different types of student fees. Using this section, you can define the fee name, amount, applicable classes, submission dates, and late-fee rules for a specific academic session.

Tip : Fee structures are session-specific. Always confirm the correct Year Session before saving a new fee.
How to Add a New Fee

Go to the Fees Module in the ERP system.

Click on Add Fees Details.

Fill in all required fee information.

Select the applicable classes, or use Select All to apply the fee to every class.

Click Save to create the fee structure.
Field Description
Fee Name
Enter the fee name such as Tuition Fee, Admission Fee, or Exam Fee.
Fee Amount
Specify the amount students are required to pay.
Submit Start Date
Defines when students can begin paying the fee.
Late Fine Per Day
Daily penalty charged after the due date.
Max Fine
Maximum late fine that can be charged for the fee.
Year Session
Academic session for which the fee structure applies.
Mandatory Fee
Determines whether the fee is compulsory or optional.
Remarks
Internal notes or instructions related to the fee.
Fee Type Options
Monthly
Collected every month throughout the session.
Quarterly
Collected four times during the academic year.
Half Yearly
Collected twice during the academic year.
Yearly
Collected once during the academic session.
Tip : The system automatically manages installment schedules according to the selected fee type.
Select All Classes
Apply the same fee amount to every class without configuring them individually.
Class-wise Configuration
Disable Select All if different fee amounts are required for specific classes.
Impact if an Existing Fee Structure is Deleted
New Collections
The deleted fee structure will no longer be available for future fee collections.
Historical Records
Existing reports and historical transactions may continue referencing the deleted fee for record purposes.
Important : Always verify active fee collections before deleting a fee structure to avoid inconsistencies in financial records.
