How Login Status Works

Login Status Calculation

Tracks Both Users

The system tracks both student and parent login activity in the app.

Date-Based Calculation

Login status is calculated based on the selected date range you apply.

Active Status

If a user logs in within the selected dates, they are marked as Active.

Inactive Status

If no login activity is found, the user is marked as Inactive (Not Logged-In).

Important Logic

Recent Activity Window

The system primarily considers recent activity (last 3 days) for the most accurate status.

Last 3 Days Included

If the selected date range includes the last 3 days, users active during this period will appear as Active.

Older Date Range Warning

Users may appear Inactive even if they are currently active.

Status reflects activity only within the selected filter period.

Use Cases

Identify Inactive Users

Quickly identify inactive students or parents who haven't engaged with the app in the selected period.

Monitor App Usage Trends

Track and analyze overall app usage trends across classes and sections over time.

Improve Engagement

Improve parent engagement and communication by targeting inactive accounts for follow-up.

Important Notes

Login status depends entirely on the selected date range.

"Not Logged-In" means no activity was recorded during the selected period.

Always verify filters if expected data is not visible.

Filter Students

Select Class and Section from dropdowns.

Use the Search bar to find students by name, admission number, or roll number.

Click the Search button to apply filters.

Click the Reset icon to clear filters.

You can proceed with these default values or modify them as needed.

Common Issues

No Data Showing

Check selected filters (Class, Section, Date Range) to ensure they are set correctly.

Click Reset and search again to reload data with fresh filters.

Incorrect Status Displayed

Ensure the date range includes recent days. Remember:

The system highlights activity mainly within the last 3 days.

Older date ranges may show users as inactive even if they are currently active.

Tip: Always set the date range to include the most recent days for the most accurate login status results.
