Vehicle List
The Vehicle List screen provides a card-based view of all vehicles registered in the system. Each card includes vehicle name, owner, registration number, assigned route, contact information, and contract validity dates.
Vehicle Card — Field Reference
Vehicle Name
Common name or model (e.g. Maruti Van, BMW, Tata Sumo).
Owner / Operator
Name of the vehicle owner or operator.
Status Toggle
Activated (amber toggle ON) or Deactivated (grey toggle OFF).
Vehicle No.
Official registration number (e.g. HR23 DR 5555, DL14Q420).
Assigned Route
Amber badge showing the route this vehicle operates on.
Phone
Contact number with call and WhatsApp quick-action icons.
Operator email address.
Contract
Start and end dates of the service contract.
Adding a New Vehicle

Click + Add Vehicle in the top-right corner.

Fill in the required details:
Vehicle Name & Reg. No.
Enter the vehicle's common name and official registration plate.
Owner Details
Owner name, phone number, and email address.
Assign Route
Link this vehicle to an existing route.
Contract Dates
Set the contract start and end dates.

Click Add Vehicle.

Toggle the status to Activated once the vehicle is ready for deployment.
Activating & Deactivating Vehicles
Use the toggle switch on each vehicle card to activate or deactivate a vehicle instantly. Deactivated vehicles remain in the list for record-keeping but are not available for route assignments.
Activated (Amber / ON)
Vehicle is live and can be assigned to routes. All staff can view it in route planning.
Deactivated (Grey / OFF)
Vehicle is suspended. It remains in the list for records but cannot be used for new route assignments.
Tip — Before deactivating a vehicle, ensure it is not the sole vehicle on an active route. Assign a replacement vehicle first to avoid service gaps.
Filtering Vehicles

Use the Select Status dropdown to filter by Activated or Deactivated.

Use the Search box to search by vehicle name or registration number.

Click the search (magnifier) icon to apply filters.

Use the refresh icon to clear all filters.
Viewing Vehicle Details
Click the eye icon on any vehicle card to open the full vehicle profile, including all historical routes, driver assignments, and maintenance notes (if configured).
Deleting a Vehicle

Locate the vehicle card and click the delete (trash) icon.

Confirm the deletion in the confirmation prompt.
Warning — Deleting a vehicle is permanent. Before deleting, ensure the vehicle is not assigned to any active route. Consider deactivating instead to preserve historical records.
Vehicle List — FAQ
Q.Can one vehicle be assigned to multiple routes?
A vehicle can be associated with multiple routes in the Vehicle List, but it can only physically operate one route at a time. Use the route timeline and vehicle availability to avoid scheduling conflicts.
Q.What should I do before deactivating a vehicle?
Check that the vehicle is not the sole vehicle on any active route. Assign a replacement vehicle to those routes first, then deactivate.
